The story
Built on a simple idea: open it up.
Maksim Baulin has been repairing computers since long before it was a business — first for friends, then for half the neighborhood. Maksim Baulin LLC turned that into a proper shop in 2016, with one rule: diagnose honestly, repair at the component level, and explain everything in plain English.
Today the bench handles everything from same-day screen replacements to microsoldering on logic boards that other shops have written off. Studios in North Hollywood, families in Burbank and small offices across the Valley rely on the same careful process: free diagnostic, written quote, repair, burn-in test, and a 12-month warranty.
We're independent, which means we can recommend the repair that's right for you — even when that's a $90 fix instead of a new laptop.

We never guess. Every quote is based on testing the actual hardware, so you pay for the fault you have — not the one we assumed.

Where a component can be fixed, we fix it. It's cheaper for you and keeps working machines out of landfill.

We access only what's needed to verify a repair, never copy personal files without permission, and wipe working copies.
